Mormonism LIVE: 043: Modern Day Mormon Danites

operandi is at work today inside Modern Mormonism through the SCMC, and other people and processes that work to ensure that believing members are kept at arms length from people, voices, and information that is both accurate and contradictory to the inaccurate but faithful dominant narrative.

Mormonism LIVE! 040: Symphony Of LGBT Mis-Direction & Mr. Holland Dopus

Since its inception in 1830 LDS Leaders have been consistent at one thing. While lip service is given to being a Church that has Prophets, Seers, and Revelators who claim to speak for God and give direction from on high, these men seem to always be behind the times, stating outdated false misconceptions and teaching false and at times harmful rhetoric. No where can this be more easily recognized than on the LGBT issue. But….. sadly It doesn’t stop there.

Mormonism LIVE !: 022: Strange Soundbites And Stranger Lies

Recently a few regional conferences came to our attention where LDS Leaders said things that seem to run counter to the truth. We touch on those today and take your calls on Mormonism LIVE ! Support Mormonism LIVE ! by donating today. 1.) We discuss Video Footage of Elder Holland and Sister Cordon claiming the Cordon’s don’t have any wealth to an audience made up in part by the poor in Africa. Which is a deceptive statement since Derek Cordon was with Omniture when they were bought out by adobe for 1.8 Billion and They live in a Million Dollar Home 2.) We discuss Video Footage of Elder Holland explaining how the Church is always behind and playing catch up with the world. 3.) We discuss footage from Elder Bednar claiming once again that Missionary work is growing and increasing and the producing incredible results.

107: The Cost of Discipleship

CostOfDiscipleship To be a Disciple of Christ is more than to follow him.  It is more than to be inclusive, to be kind, to be compassionate.  It also has a cost.  It is uncomfortable.  It requires us to be challenged and to be pushed to our limits.  Today we talk about that cost and why the Church, the gospel, and the Savior for that matter can not always be comfortable and only ask us to do things that make sense.

007: Return to Fishing and a Quest for Loyalty

This Episode is based on Elder Hollands Recent Conference Talk “The First Great Commandment”. Elder Holland made a great observation, which as I consider the story is very likely.

In his talk he makes mention of “Cafeteria Mormon”, Faith Crisis, Loyalty to God and his Gospel.

I tried to give Elder Holland’s talk some background by including a Story from Dale Sturm’s talk regarding Luke Chapter 5.

The resources from this podcast are as follows

If you have hit a plateau, have withdrawn your activity, have never put your full energy into the gospel…. this episode is for you.
